Sierra Leone: Emmerson Gives Explanation To The Meaning Of “Adebayor”, Likens Him To President Koroma

Sierra Leone Pop Singer, Emmerson Bockaire has today explained the meaning to one of the popular quotes in his recently released “Munku Boss Pan Matches” single.

The Sugar Entertainment Boss has been the talk of the town for over two weeks now following the release of his “Survivor” album on 20th April 2016.
In one of the strong worded song, the popular music star seriously indicated Ministers of the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) Party and the government generally by accusing them of being extremely corrupt.

“Adebayor just dey buy buy” is one of the controversial phrase that the singer used to describe the current affairs of the country, expressing it in sad state and positing that the present government is very wicked and does not care about the masses.
Unknown to many who do not know the indepth meaning of the Phrase, they thought the singer was directly referring to the Togolese football star, Emmanuel Adebayor.
“Adebayor is the man that is buying it all ‪”‎adebuyall”, were the exact words of Emmerson when asked to explain the meaning of the Phrase.
Emmerson who spoke to BBC Sierra Leone in an exclusive interview today described Adebayor to the political elites who spends in buying properties at the detriment of the poor masses.
This can be directly linked to the President, Ernest Bai Koroma and some Politicians  like Alpha Kanu who is rumored to have acquired Mansions out of state money.
It is also believed that the President “bought his way” in the Judiciary after the controversial sacking of the Ex-Vice President Sam Sumana in order to get a favorable judgement.
