These African Men Made It Into The History!

These Africans have made it into the history. The whole world knows their names and will remember them for good. These people are outstanding!
8 greatest people from Africa:
 1. Kofi Annan
The man was a United Nations secretary. He was the second African to take the position. He comes from Ghana. He is 78, and his achievements are great indeed. He managed to help attain peace in many conflicting regions of the world. He has been on many humanitarian missions.


2. Michael Jackson
This man differs much from our #1. However, you can hardly find someone who does not know the name. He is called the king of pop music. His dancing and singing impressed people and his music have formed the culture of the generation. Overall he sold 400 million records! And he was black.

3. Usain Bolt
This athlete is known for being paid the highest fees. He is also the fastest man in the world. He won the title of the fastest both in 100 and 200-meter distances. He comes from Jamaica.

4. Muhammad Ali
The man is the boxing legend, and he dominated the arena in the sixties and seventies. In 2005 he got the Presidential Medal of Freedom from George W. Bush. He has also been named as the most influential athlete of the 20th century.

 5. Barack Obama
He is the 44th President of the United States and the first black person to take that position. It makes him unique. His father came from Kenya. He stayed two terms and in November 2016 the last one will end.

6. Chinua Achebe
This Nigerian novelist is listed among the greatest African writers. His book Things Fall Apart was translated into 50 languages, and he sold over 12 million copies of it.

7. Frederick Douglass
This man fought for the rights of the black people in America. He escaped the slavery and joined the abolition movement. Eventually, he became its leader. What he did for all the Africans in America and around the world should not be forgotten.

8. Martin Luther King
His words from the famous speech still sound in our hearts: “I have a dream.” He gave his life fighting for what he believed. He managed to gather and unite thousands and even millions of people. He was murdered in 1968, but his ideals and ideas are still alive. All these black people have managed to overcome the odd and adversities of their time, race, and prejudice. These African men started small but amounted to much. We will remember them forever.
