Sierra Leone main opposition party (SLPP) flag bearer aspirant, Julius Maada Bio, last friday has called on
his supporters and Sierra Leoneans to come out in their numbers and register
“Pa-O-Pa” for 2018 elections.
As voter registration process will commence in
February, run by the Civil Registration Authority, as part of the 2018
electoral process.
During his flag bearer campaign trip to Moyamba on Friday, Bio said they have been cheated in the census data and so this should not be repeated. Therefore, people above 18-years must come out and register. He stated that he has great ideas for the development of the country and this he can achieve if the people register and vote for him, “overwhelmingly”.
Bio maintained that the 2018 elections is for the SLPP and one way this can be achieved is when all the members of the Party come together. He urged other flag bearer aspirants to allow peace in the Party and for them to “subject themselves to the Constitution of the Party”.
