Sierra Leone News: 33 New Citizens Take Oath of Allegiance at State House

At a special swearing-in-ceremony organized at State House yesterday (Tuesday October 25), 33 new citizens subscribed to the oath of allegiance administered by the Chief Immigration Officer, Alpha Kholifa Koroma.
Emotions ran high as Sierra Leonean citizenship became a reality for these 33 new citizens as they are now official citizens of Sierra Leone and for some of them, it's being a long time coming considering how long they have been in the country.
Even though these 33 have new rights today they also have new responsibilities to protect and defend their new country.
Stay tuned for more on this...
