Inter Milan Sack Head Coach, Roberto Mancini

Inter Milan have sacked head coach Roberto Mancini, the Serie A club has confirmed.

Mancini became Inter head coach in November 2014, taking the club to fourth place in Italy's top flight last season.

Mancini's relationship with new Inter owners Suning Holdings broke down over the summer, with his successor expected to be former Holland defender Frank De Boer, who left his role as Ajax head coach in May.

The 46-year-old was linked with Premier League clubs Everton and Southampton before those vacancies were filled by Ronald Koeman and Claude Puel respectively.
