Sierra Leone News: Maada Bio Finally Reveal To Become President In 2018, READ What He Said

The front runner in the race to become flagbearer of the main opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP), Brig. (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio has been speaking to supporters in the United Kingdom, about his chances of clinching the Party’s Presidential ticket ahead of the February 2018 polls.

Brig. (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio accompanied by his wife, Fatima told a beehive of supporters during an informal gathering in London, over the weekend that, their unwavering support has made him indomitable insofar as the flagbearer race in the SLPP is concerned.
Brig. (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio noted that with such an overwhelming and unshakable support he has from Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad, he has no doubt that he will not only win the party flagbearer position but he will also clinch the Presidency of Sierra Leone.

He thanked SLPP supporters everywhere for staying the cause and for believing in his leadership, noting that, their support and faith will be translated in to capturing State House come 2018. 
Brig. (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio, a doctoral candidate at Bradford University returned to UK after months of research work in Sierra Leone.
He told his supporters that while in the country, he had the opportunity of assessing his chances in the flagbearer race and of the Presidency which he said were “very good and very encouraging”.

The SLPP will continue with the conduct of internal elections later this month, after going through the first tier of its lower level elections under the supervision of the PPRC (Political Parties Registration Commission).
The elections will be climaxed by a National Delegates Conference where a new set of National Officers of the Party will be elected.
