Three nights to the launch of the movie ‘She Prayed’, the multiple award winning Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel, has said that he intends to give the movie industry in Sierra Leone the seed that will move it forward.
While he was making a statement yesterday at Country Lodge, Hill Station in Freetown, the actor said he had no intention of collaborating with Sollywood but to support and motivate the movie industry in the country for it to grow.

He urged Sierra Leoneans who are interested in the movie industry to go ahead with their dreams. “I have no plans for collaborating. Don’t wait for me to come and support and don’t wait for money, do something and then I will come,” he declared.
With regards the movie that will be launched on Saturday at Country Lodge at Hill Station, he said “we are not here to get your money”. He added that attending the program is like refunding their return air ticket.
‘She Prayed’ is a Christian movie which tells the story of a Christian mother whose ironical life turned her only son into an atheist. The movie features Yvonne Nelson, an award winning actress and Eddie Watson, a Sierra Leonean who is visiting the country for the first time, among others.
