Sierra Leone Government Announces New Date For 2016 NPSE Exams

A State House press release says the primary school-leaving exams put off indefinitely will now take place on 28 May. It comes after condemnations by the Bar Association and the National Children’s Commission.Parents had also threatened to stage a protest march on Monday if a new date was not announced.
Govt had postponed the exams, slated for 7 May, in protest at the extension by two months of the mandate of the head of the West African Exams Council.
