How To Deal When Baby Bites While Breastfeeding!

Oh motherhood! I've heard of babies biting their mother's nipples and the day it happened to my baby mama I thought she  was dying! Junior was almost rolling on the floor from serious laughter... "these nipples are sensitive my fren why are you laughing"? Even Tito looked up from his position and was laughing. Kini gbogbo katikati ? Wozalldis?! I even told my baba mama I was just the same! Biting you  while staring deep into your eyes to see your reaction. Like father, like son!

Another time Junior  bit her, she screamed so loud that she  started crying from the shock of it....if na you nko!

I have found solutions that can help me deal with the Biting so we are good!
1. A quick tap on that pampered butt, just to say "Hey mister, watch what you are doing". A light tap will stop your baby in action and hopefully they free the nipple.

2. Be attentive to your baby. I noticed that he would bite when he was either full, falling asleep or just playing with the nipple, or when he is distracted. When you see he's beginning to hum while nursing, free the nipple.

3. Another option I've tried is immediately sticking your finger in his mouth. He would immediately let go and free the nipple.

What have you been doing to stop your baby from biting while breastfeeding?
