Sierra Leone: As Sierra Leone Celebrates 55 years Anniversary,Nasser Ayoub & GTB Clean Freetown

Nasser Ayoub in collaboration with Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) Sierra Leone, has on Wednesday, 20th April, 2016 intimated to this writer that they will undertake a cleaning exercise in the Freetown municipality ahead of Sierra Leone 55 years independent celebration.

Nasser maintained that he deem it necessary to clean major streets in Freetown ahead of this year’s birthday of Sierra Leone. “We have secured three thousand (3000) brooms and man power to sweep Freetown before the independent celebration.” He said. He further explained that two days have been slated for the cleaning exercise; April 25, 2016, major streets like Spur Road, Congo Cross Siaka Stevens street etc in the West End of Freetown will be swept whilst April 26th , 2016 the cleaning exercise will spread to the East End of the Freetown Municipality.

Nasser further stated that they have also prepared five hundred (500) Green, White and Blue flags to be mounted in strategic positions across the city for this year’s celebration.

Nasser Ayoub commonly called ‘Tranga Yase Borbor’ is a Sierra Leonean Musician, Business man and Philanthropist was born in Koidu town, Kono district, in the eastern region of Sierra Leone.

Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) is an award winning banking institution is Sierra Leone, has made tremendous contribution towards the socio-economic development of Sierra Leone “As one of the leading banking institutions in the country, I count it as honour in partnering with GTB in this national exercise” says N. Ayoub.

Nasser made a clarion call to all institutions and other individuals to join hands in building this great land that we love Sierra Leone. “I don’t have much but the little I have I am using to show my love for my country, with collective efforts, we can make this country.” He noted.


He also call on anyone who wish to join them in the exercise on the 25th and 26thApril 2016 to do so in the spirit of patriotism and nationalism.
