See The Nigerian Who Just Emerged World Scrabble Champion(Photo)

This has so far been a very good weekend for Nigeria.
This weekend, a Nigerian got elected as the world JCI president.
Again this weekend, the country got it's first female Governor Elect, and now, another Nigeria Mr Jighere Wellington has just done the country proud by emerging the world's best scrabble player.
Jighere Wellington  emerged the new Scrabble champion of the world on Sunday morning by defeating Lewis Mackay 4-0 in a Best of Seven series in Perth Australia.

Nigeria also emerged as the best team of the championship as five of its six representatives finished in top 50 players of the tournament with Ayorinde Saidu and Emmanuel Umujose placing 16th and 17th, respectively.

Scrabble is a very intellectual game, so I have immense respect for Wellington. And no, he is not Banky's brother....lol
