Sierra Leone Parliament Gives 7 Days Ultimatum To 3 Lebanese And Chinese Companies

Members of Parliament in the Committee of Lands and Country Planning headed by Hon. Rozaline Smith last Wednesday gave seven days ultimatum to three companies.
The companies include Fawaz Building Materials Enterprise, Shanders and son and Commodities Trading Coming for failing to appear before the committee.
This happened when the committee summoned the above companies and Environmental Protection Agency for the three companies to give reason why they have failed to pay their EIA to EPA.

The chairperson of the Committee Hon. Smith said if the fail to make the payment to EPA and also appear before the Committee within the seven days the Committee will order the arrest of the Executive Directors of the companies.
She said the Lebanese and the Chinese have total disregard for State authorities, noting that when they are invited or summoned to Parliament to attend State functions the usually sent their junior officers which is unacceptable.
